Epstein acquired a more modest island - Little St James - originally in 1998, but subsequently obtained the larger adjacent island in the year 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
These photos suggest he had drawn up ambitious plans to build upon the substantial island by constructing living quarters, an performance venue, an submerged workspace and a pool.
Marked on the drawing is a channel, a waterway in the US Virgin Islands, marked on the bottom right.
The site plan is marked up in handwritten red notes and includes a legend identifying various parts of the land.
In addition to this are what look to be several other property layouts and construction drawings, featuring plans for boat shelters.
